Jobsmont is currently accepting applications for a certified Big Data/Hadoop Instructor. Jobsmont specializes in programs that develop and enhance workplace skills for individuals. The Job Duties Include:

• Teaching courses to students that cover Big Data, Hadoop, Big Data Analytics
• Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and update all course materials.
• Coordinating with the program manager on curriculum development
• Demonstrates consistency and fairness in the grading and provide timely feedback to students
• Demonstrating professionalism and leadership skills in and out of the classroom

Required Skills:

• Expertise with Windows Operating Systems. Corporate or Collegiate classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and hands-on technical experience
• Knowledge with either: Big Data, Hadoop, Eucalyptus or Open Stack Cloud Computing products
• Excellent Speaking and writing skills.
• Professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in appropriate field of study
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with integrating key Big Data components to create a Big Data platform, loading unstructured data into Hadoop Distributed File System, querying Hadoop MapReduce jobs using Hive, simplifying Big Data processing and communicating with Pig Latin
• Proficiency with big data analytics software and technologies including, but not limited to, SAS, SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Spark

You Must Have:

• Big Data Certification
• Excellent presentation skills
• Time management and punctuality skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be available for weekends and weekdays
