Job Description

Understanding of Java JRE environment – doing trouble shotting on JVM, Threads, Locks etc. Java coding experience will be plus. 

Database experience  – Sybase or DB2 -  Writing queries, Understands Data models, Stored procedures, Triggers  . Know how to call queries and write queries 

Experience with Unix to troubleshoot – for example using grep to go through Log files etc. nix – troubleshooting, Log files to understand 

Experience in any one programming language 

Experience in Shell / Perl/ Python 

Prior application support experience with enterprise applications. 

If they have handled more than 1 application at the same time it will be plus 

Should be ok with providing weekend support on need to basis.
